The city of Jerusalem was established in the 19th century BC. Climate

A train from Tel Aviv will take you to Jerusalem via Lod which is the changeover stop for going to Beer Sheva, Ashkelon, Rishon LeZion and Ben Gurion Airport. The journey from Tel Aviv to Merkaz/Savidor station is 1:30 min. There is a train every hour. Buses ply regularly from the Railway Station to tourist spots.
