The champagne colored diamonds are one of the most demanded colored diamonds amongst all colors and are abundantly available in nature if compared to the other colored diamonds.
The champagne colored diamonds have now become the latest trend in wearing colored diamonds and look really cool as the youngsters say. Diamonds look beautiful as they are the most glittering thing the earth has created. These diamonds are called as the champagne colored diamonds as the color of these diamonds looks like the color of the Champagne drink. These diamonds look like the champagne drink because when these stones were formed they had several types of impurities which made the colorless diamonds attain the color. To attain the color of Champagne also come in several shades which are called as cognac and brown. It mainly happens due to the radiation which occurs deep inside the earth and the enormous pressure makes the diamonds attain the color of champagne. It can be further defined as the defect in the atomic scale which results in the structural framework of the diamond inside the earth and thus making the stone turn into a Brown diamond. It may also happen that the amount of the impurities are not strong enough to turn the colorless diamond turn into Brown diamond and may turn into a lighter shade which is Champagne diamond. The carbon atoms react to the radiation i.e. the alpha, beta and gamma rays and bring out the most remarkable colors of the stone and look like there is fires of the molten rock is present inside their crystals.

The Brown colored diamond and its several shades were earlier considered as the low colored diamonds as these diamonds does not look attractive and there are several other diamond colors available in the market as substitutes. But due to the enormous treasured brown diamonds inside the earth bed of Australia they got their respect back. The Argyle mines have done the necessary work of getting the Champagne colored diamonds back into the market and into the fashion. The name of the low brown colored diamond was called as the Champagne diamond by Argyle mines only. The Argyle mines nearly produces eighty percent of the world’s total production of the brown colored diamonds and its several shades. The name give to the diamond has itself done the magic of getting the diamond back in the market and being demanded by the customers. Earlier the low colored diamonds especially the brown colored diamonds were not given the respect and status they deserved and were used in factories and industries for digging and mining purposes. But now as the Argyle mines have brought them back in the market so their uses in the factories have reduced but not yet stopped. Now nearly seventy to seventy five percent of the low colored diamonds are still used by industries and factories. People have found easy ways of turning the colorless diamonds into the champagne colored diamonds by heating the colorless diamond to a temperature of nearly 600˚ Celsius. Today the science has so much improved that scientists can make diamond in the laboratories by chemicals in a time period of a week. This has further affected the natural production of the champagne diamond and increased their use in industries and factories. The gemologists and the people who own diamonds say that they should be used for luxury and jewelry purposes and not to be used for digging and mining purposes.
